Going to Harlan

Take all spare parts and tools you can with you comfortably, fuel up every morning before hitting the trails, watch out for snakes. Have a good time, Harlan is one of my favorite places to wheel.

Ive been going to harlan at least once a year, most years at least twice a year and I dont think Ive ever seen a single snake there.

Ive seen a couple and have talked to a few folks that have seem some rattlers. I look out for them any time I'm walking around rocks and wooded areas lol.

Can't tell u what it looks like. But ev body knows. If I'm not running a wrecker I'm bare foot. This **** will light u up!! Not crippling but will burn yo legs an feet lol.

The sign on evarts side that reads a fed bear is a dead bear always cracks me up

Yep stangin nettle....got lit up all between my sock area and bottom of shorts one my legs one time by it steppin off Trail 15 to wiz...even worse right after a rain!

Goes away after a while but still weird as **** gettin attacked by weeds.

Heres a Harlan trail map I paint shopped in the Locomotive Barn location...I also added in the yellow Trail 47 and just overlook the "no Jeep" symbol that trail has been widened since that map was made...
