Golden mountain for turkey

That was one of the best times I have ever had on a ride. I am impressed with the new trails and I didn't even get to try two of them. Got to go back soon to try them out and cut some more.

I priced a set of 14 bolt 300M axles and I guess I will be going to the junk yard Saturday to buy a few spares for now. :o

Sam I dont know why I did not get you going over the top of the slab I recorded it I guess my editing needs work.golden mt thanksgiving

Turned out I broke the park lock actuator in the tranny on that spot about 30 minutes into the ride. Ended up finding pieces of it in the pan along with the clip that holds it in. Tranny held up fine the rest of the trip though and seems to be an easy fix. Just tried to not use reverse much. Should have it back together by the weekend.

the yellow buggy does good for having leaf springs on the front axle.

think its the driver! :driving: unless you saw the shifter for the manual trans you would think it had an auto the way sam drives it

To say Sam knows that rig like the back of his hand is understatement! He is one of my favorite people to ride with (back when I was not rigless) and he is a lot of fun to watch compete as well.

Just think how that yellow thing would go IF he had tread on the tires. :****: Only person I know that wheels with 1/8in of tread and makes things look easy.

Don't forget about the different sized tires too.

I want to thank Sam, Steve, Albert, Perry, and Jason for the thought and the gift sent to the funnel home this weekend. My Mon knows I've got a lot of good friends. Thanks again.

Where is the slab? Is it in the new area called the jungle?

How tough is the trail off 28 that goes down to the left if you dont go up the bridge?

Yes the slab is in The Jungle. The bridge area is not difficult but mostly scenic and a couple of narrow squeezes.

Thanks. Does Crackhead start off Trail 5 and where does it end at? And where is Winchin Churchill?

Crackhead is like the top of 5.

Winchin Churchill is to the right going up the paved road, it exits up behind the campground.

There is a new trail from the middle of honey bee to the top of razor back,

And a new trail on the north side of the dirt track that leaves straight from the parking lot to the top of 15

Several people have only done the last section of Crackhead that can be accessed from the top of trail 5 and they missed the first two sections.

The entrance starts out from the upper section of trail 4 on the left about a couple hundred feet up past the clearing where trail 3 connects. It is marked with a wooden sign.

It would be very easy for a short wheelbase rig to do an end over on the first section and at the bottom of that is a place that is off camber as the drivers side is downhill and easy to roll there.
