he's at teh point of struts from ORI via kelly as soon as I get the account set up.

Honestly I am not sure about the Struts. I don't know if they are up to Rock Bouncing. You gotta show me that they will withstand the punishment I will put on them.

the guy i talk to has them on his comp rig...he says that they feel like landing on a pillow when jumped...

they are easily adjusted for height and spring rate throught both the lower and upper shroeder valves.....respectively.....

i really like the spill on them, but i really dont know if i can stand to wait on them that long...they are at about a 4-6 week lead time...

i also don't know if i want to cut off all of my shock tabs and re-do those too....

i think that with the first set of springs being wrong and the fact that i do NOT want to have to add a sway bar keep me thinking about them, but i just cant make the decision....

So when I hit Los Primos from the bottom and never check up, are they gonna handle the hit. Im talking Wide Open Stupid Stuff. ;D

Struts have internal bumps already. Kinda defeating the value if you put additional air bumps with them IMO

Cool, are they good shits ? I dont know anything about the ORI's honestly outside of I like the principle in general and they have some sweet adjustablity characteristics.

Im just not comfortable with landing full force on "tabbed" suspension pieces. C/O's , N2's etc.. Even if they do have internal bumps its hard to mount them in most cases in a manner were thier mounting points are structural enough to take a full on highspeed bottom out at the chassis.

good point paul, you would have to design the chassis so that's what its made for. On heath's, the rear and front upper mounts aren't tabs hanging out, they are straight on a bearing piece with kickers going down forward and backward (and upward on the rear into the cage) to absorb any hard G out type forces.

Thats alot of why on my rear I put those huge tabs in place, then braced them across to each other... plus the roof bar tied in just above them for vertical support.

**** why you think baja trucks run triple bypass and air bumps and and and.... etc laughing1

Yeah Kelly's correct. I will more than likely be going struts ASAP. I can get 10% off going direct "Racer discount" or a bit deeper discount through Kelly if he gets setup. So I'm waiting for Kellys to go through. I have some mad body lean I "HAVE" to address. It flopped me once in Alabama, the 2nd was just a plain "I can see ****" roll.

As for repairs. I leave work early today to go pull it out and wash it finally. It looks the same as it did when MattO pulled it off the course 2 weeks ago. I'm offload it in my home shop, and tear it down tonight. I will have a much better idea of system damage by 10-midnight tonight. Hopefully get parts ordered tomorrow "Harness", and get to temporary repairing if said parts dont show in time for a Jellico departure. Worst case, I miss Jellico, best case I just have to run some new hose and wire, and fix my driveshaft carrier bearing. I pray it is more of the latter.

I ran my c/o a year or so with out any bumps. they took some hard abuse bottoming out, with the tabs holding them full force. I actually almost ripped the the bottom retainer out of the shock body once because my limiting straps were a little too long. Struts may not work for every application or person, but it's a band wagon I jumped on hoping they are the ****. Their very adjustable, talked to a guy running them in MOROC and he loves them. He said their more for high speed jumps and turns. I'm kinda worrying about Coles question, are they going to be able to soak up a full throttle asault on primos. Where you have to be able to adsorb the ledge then recover and take the bounce. Oh well, we'll see in about a month. I should see mine in about a week and a half if they stay on schedule.
