A funny story regarding my truck. I was investigating the wiring of the 7way in the bed and the 7way on the bumper. I found the reason why the 7 way in the bed did not work on the OK trip, all the fawkin wires were cut ;D. They tied it into the 7way on the bumper and did a craptastic job. Their were cut wires of all different colors and sizes all over the place, it is was a crow's nest of ****. So I start reading through the manual to find the function of each color in the harness so I could match them up. I find that if your truck has the 5th Wheel Wiring option they run an extra grouping of wires to the back for you to splice into. It says they are tied to the driver's side at the front of the bed, so I check there for shits and giggles and low and behold there they are. Never been used, still were the factory put them. I pulled the wires down the frame and tied the 7way in the bed into them, which is what should of been done the first time. Anyways, lots of time spent to get a freakin 7way to work!
