Not nut swinging, but I bet he could turn out two by the next race. Look at some of the top buggies in the series. I watched within a few feet, some of his previous buggies hauling the mail. I also bet he has the notes on the builds of what worked well and what didn't. For this build to be so shitty, he pulled in a 4th place finish. I didn't notice anyone of the other 27 racers on the docket saying his buggy was a waste of money or wouldn't work. He likes a different feel for his buggy and that's cool.
I had a chance to talk with him briefly on Friday and he really is a super nice guy that knows his stuff when it comes to buggies. I followed about halfway through his explanation of what was going on with the front quintuple bypasses and then my brain shut down. His was still going at 90mph and giving facts and specs and it was just cool to sit there and listen. Then, while everyone was racing both hills, he watched everyone else make their runs up until he had to suit up to race. After the race, I shook his hand and thanked him for coming out and putting on a show. He took the time to be courteous and went on shaking hands of fans and being nice to all the other people that made their way into the pits.
It sure would be nice if everyone could quit being so jealous of what he has ( I am to a certain degree) and just enjoy what he does. He spends a lot of his time giving us something to talk about and videos of new buggies and epic runs and he is freaking local to most of us. Spend some time building him up instead of tearing him down. This country is too full of worthless folks tearing others down and this small offroad community shouldn't join in on the demise of our society.
