Got a Dodge!

Loving it, rides well and is much quiter than the Dmax (of course the dmax had intake and exhaust minus cat). MPG is not great now, but it takes a while to break the motors in. Dodge is not big on nice options, but I am a fan of simplicity. Things like auto headlights and cool interior features are non-existent in the dodges. The leather option from Oneal was well worth the money as the Laramie package is a joke. The liner, tint and tires really make the truck look good IMO. Riding in TK's 6.7 makes me really want the 6spd Auto and Exhaust Brake, but I was leary of the first model year with a new motor. With the 5.9 CTD being an I-6 it could probably stand a tow-tuner to help it out a little while towing, but overall I am super excited about this truck. I am bummed today because my wife is driving it as I am picking up her new ride today!

Leaving poorness, yeah my ass ;D A new house note and car not means we went from having a good chunk in savings each month to not. I am just glad I was able to pay for my truck outright. One less payment!

damn...you paid for that thing outrite....yer doing good boy....u hiring? i am willing to relocate....lol....

I made about 50k on the sale of our old house. Not bad for living there for 3.5 years :flipoff1: That helped with the truck and the down-payment on the new crib. My wife is about to be the high-roller not me. Also I owned the Dmax outright, so the new ram was not that much coin in the end.

The wife's new ride is sick, I just went and picked it up! It is the Sport Packing sitting on 19" alloys :o She is going to get a lot of looks in this thing. It is too fast for me, I will get into trouble driving it :fish:

Sweet. Those cars have the best colors available. What color did you get?

I like the battleship grey ones, but I could never keep one clean.

Post up some pics yo.

Hate to say anything bad about the Dodges but we have an 07 at work. The check engine light comes on regular and Dodge is looking for a fix. Just wanted to let you know it is a common problem we have been told and they are trying to figure it out. Benchmark said drive it but if it comes on and starts flashing to get it in asap otherwise we will give you a call once the problem is figured out.

The wife went with a black on black, S-Line Edition. I drove it on the curvy road home last night and was taking S-curves at 60 with my foot on the gas. I was hanging with a 911 that was having just as much fun as I was. Fast cars would get me in trouble. 4yr/50k warranty and service dates scheduled @ every 10k, first service free!

I had a Porsche 944 when HB was born and Im amazed I never got popped in that thing. It wasnt fast fast mind you, but on curvy roads with a near 50/50 weight distribution you never had to lift the right foot ;D
