They are new.. Not rusty, fresh grease, They just need to be tapped to get in and out.. they are not sloppy and worn out like your sister. :flipoff: Just kidding man... Im sure she is nice.
I looked through the end of your build thread to see if you were running a pillow block/two piece front D-line.......couldn't tell from the pics I saw.
Also it's important to get this "right" for jumping purposes. The d-lines have to behave enough to function AT SPEED.....AT FULL DROOP or your gonna throw parts.
When you (over) grease them does excess grease squirt out the yoke on the female end?
If so that would eliminate this as the cause. Always good to try the simple things first before throwing money & time at a problem.
I had a brand new driveline once that I kept greasing but they forgot the hole in the yoke so it would not compress when it was full of grease.
I say your pinion has tattoo'd a carrier.
The guts of the axles are what was in them when I got them and I was told they where stock. Dodge dana 60 front, dana 70 rear
So what factory lockers came in a stock Dodge 60-70 combo? Is your buggy on open diffs?
The guts of the axles are what was in them when I got them ........................ and I did the weld jobs. I never messed with anything in there.
He said they are welded. Try reading all the words instead of just the first few. :flipoff:
:flipoff: I read this to mean he did welding on the axle, like maybe tube ends or something.....
When you were in there to do the welding did you inspect the bearings or find any bad/loose bearings?
