How deep can you groove them an does an body have any pics.
may get some an the outside of the tread is all most gone.
so just let me know
thanks

Mine have had the rounded edges squared back up with a little undercut plus one groove in outer lugs. Didn't cut any into carcass tho. They hook up great, but you already knew that. :afro:

I don't have any. Prolly never will. How much r a set of 39s ?
And why would you want to cut up tires that do like they do ?

Gave mine a little more life last night. Cut down into the body and along the side to give the lugs a little more bit into the loose stuff.

I ran a set of reds that was grooved and they ended up cracking bad around where the grooving was done. It didn't seem to help that much and I have another set now that work better ungrooved. That's just my experience.

Must be something with that sticky compound, my front left 39" red has a shallow cut all the way around the tire near the sidewall tread lugs from spinning on something sharp and it's cracking around it. Tires aren't very old either and still about 85% tread or better. Kinda looks like dry rot til you notice it goes all the way around the tire.

That's just where the tread is bonded to the sidewall. Every set does it eventually and it isn't going to cause a problem.
Also the more krawlers get worn the sticker they get, but here in the south we have to deal with mud so a bald krawlers doesn't work well.

Ah, ok. I've only noticed it on one of the four so I figured I got up against a sharp rock or something. They will never see highway speeds under my ownership so I don't care how much they crack :****:
