Not sayin it "WontWork", just thought it is a little large of a wire for the job being done.

Has he burnt any holes or is he using 1/4 stuff?

Not really It's .030 wire.
 
yeah, haley was asking if it was .062 E71T flux core dual shiled, meaning flux core and gas together (dual shield). its like 7018 in a wire (somewhat of an analogy). I have used it down to .045, but didn't know they made it much smaller. what gas? just co2? If it really were 1/16" like I've ran, you're in teh 24V and up range throwing flame and melting 1/2" plate. Must not be 1/16th
that **** is amazing, but its 3x as much or so than hard wire.
