Thats good news. Glad it didn't cost a whole lot. Did the Dyno it?
 
Didn't ask, the first thing they said is that the crankcase dos not need to be vented on anything but drag cars. That might of been your problem Cole, when you kept blowing the dips out of it.

Wouldnt dipsticks getting shot out mean there was alot of crankcase pressure laughing
 
i am going to get it in a few hours i will find out if they dyno it but he said that it runs alot better. he said that the exust is putting presure in the crankcase and it should be vented into the intake
 
they told me not to take the crankcase breather off once they hooked up the computer he said it needs it. they reprogramed the computer and set the tps sensor and rewired the o2 sensor. they said it has 6lb of boost and that adds 50% hp so they say it has 600 to 675 hp. it helped alot i just thought it was fast before. they did a great job and olny charged me $200. they told me if i put a intercooler on it i could get up to 12lb of boost and that would add another 100hp but i do not think i need it so i will leave it alone
 
dude, 12 pounds on a sbc???!! WOW. we are talking crankshaft laying on the ground and heads off the engine at that point. That's awesome!! loller.gif
you need to post those on pirate on teh buggy dyno thread. did they actually chassis dyno it or is that a good guess kind of deal. either way, time to go to the sand drags with that girl :spin:
 
good god...thats insane! glad is it is running better. hope to get to see it in action sometime. I was hoping to see it at MM for RBD07....oh well.

it would not fit on a dyno they hooked it to a computer and put a bunch gauges on it and drove it around the block several times. they said the motor has about 400 -450 hp and with 6lbs of boost that will add 200-225 hp.
 
I always new that motor made a **** ton of power. Glad they got it all straightened out for you.
 
i ordered some solid knuckles and steering arms today. tomorrow i will order the inter shafts,ctm's,and a double ended ram. so i will be able to bug mash before long :flipoff1:

Who'd you get the Solids from? Best Price?
I have seriously been considering these for mine, I'm still stock knuckled, and scared of the abuse they are fixing to take.
 
i got the number off pirate but i do not remember the name i will look tomorow at work and post then but they were $690 for the knucles and the arm that included shipping
