I guess I'll have to go up Pony Hill so I can talk ****. laughing1 Heath said "if" he comes there he is going up it , breaking spectacularly , or rolling until he is dizzy.

I think the later will happen the way he rides !

Yeah it is the coolest place I have ever been to by far.

If he rolls on Pony it could be a really long way if he goes down that big ass hill.

If you are staying in the houses close to the trail lock your **** up and don't leave anything outside or on your trailer. That **** will disappear quick with all the tweakers running around there.

I wish I was going, Harlan is a blast

What do you we need to do to get the 30 dolla pass or whatever they have going on now ? I assume its like most places you can get it at one of the local gas station's or something like that ??

Stop by the Chevron...fill out a quick form and hand them the $$$ and they give you a sticker to place somewhere on the buggy.

Damn, wish we were leaving tonight ! I gotta work a little in the morning but they will be loaded and at my house waiting so once I hit the door tommorow mid morning its AWN !

Looking forward to it Brian, after all these years shootin the **** online looks like we will all finally have some wheeling time together !

7pm and we havent even made it to Gadsden yet........ Lay has spent billion dollar's on trailer tire's and we have been battling wire issue's in the WalMart parking lot in Springville for the last 3 hours...

Re: Harlan Trip That went wrong..... Mountainside ORV saves the weekend.

We really wanted to ride Harlan, but the truck wasnt really ready for the haul and the trailer wasnt either. We went through 2 brake controller's and bought 3 tires... and struggled to get to Mountainside before dark. Pushing on to Harlan was a bad idea. We did however have a great time, and Bob answered the call while on vacation and was great to let us ride thier. The park was rented by the GA Trailrider's and we rode with them a fair bit. Had a great time and they are a good group of guys without a doubt. One of the guys named Seth even drove my buggy up Rev Limiter.. MattB was with me and he also drove it up Rev Limiter and several other obstacles. I was on Break Away and not beating the rig at all and the Tcase made some bad noise... I thought / hoped it jumped out of gear but its worse, havent taken it out yet but I had to pull the driveshafts to get it back on the trailer as it started to lock up every 3/4 rotation. Didnt force anything so I hope something is salvagable. Then we were goofin with Lay's buggy on the big tire playground Bob has built by the entrance, he was hitting them and launching the buggy, it was awesome so I was like, do it again and I'll take pics. Of course the camera comes out he hits it and lands the inner rear bead on a rock and bend's the wheel back and flattens the tire. laughing1 We went ahead and loaded up and started back. Beat his wheel out last night, and all is good.


Lay and MattB have never wheeled anywere's but Grayrock and Blackwater down in Jasper. They were really stoked to get the Mountainside experience and it was fun for me to be with "newer" rider's that get so jazzed up at the big climb's and seeing some of the capabilities of these buggies. Damn good time even with all the let downs. Bob I cant thank you enough sir, your one of the best ! I owe you one big time!! The GA trail riders were also great, thank you for taking us in and being cool about us coming out to ride with you guys.
