High pinion axles do you really need one?

No HPs for me. Was going to go that route, but the boys up north talked me out of it. I have no probs with driveline angle, or low hanging drivelines anyways. I would choose a high clearence center(if they offered one) over a HP anyday of the week though as I like to go deeper into the gears than 5:38s..
