Holley LS Fest

Went to the LS Fest this weekend for the first time, had a blast. Frostbite bouncer was there, Steve made a 1/4 mile pass it went 10.93. The starter stood in the beams and allowed him a rolling start from about two links back. I am sure Steve was afraid of snapping an output shaft from a standing start but that thing is quick and went straight. The bouncer was in The Tuning Schools booth on the midway and he flew their banner down the strip. Did anyone else go? RTR

Steve just graduated from the tuning school, he has recently bought a dyno and about to set up a shop in the town we live in, and start tuning. I had to work or I would have went.

I went to school with Matt. Lives down the road from me. He also does the Power Tour with that truck.

Yeah, Matt is a good dude. He does security at the IceBears games, that's where I first met him. He was just an acquaintance til I found out he was a gearhead. Lol

That would have consfused my old guys at the tire shop. Beadlocks made them go nuts.

When I first saw the "white wall wheel" I thought.....damn, now that's some thinking outside the box! Pretty cool idea I think.

I've thought about re-wheeling that Cuda instead of 18's/20's and going with an old Trans Am package type wheel, like 17x9 Panosports on all 4 corners. I know they make some 17" Mopar rallys but those just don't look right to me. Maybe if they did a 15" Rally wheel LOOK like the above white wall wheel, that'd be pretty cool.
