Holley tuning

I have a bbc 489 its a 454 bored and stroked with holley fuel management :fish:

system, and I cant find anyone that is good at tuning anyone on here know anything about holley systems?

Not gonna help you much but, I have a friend with Holley injection on a ford stroker motor and, he has yet to find a shop that can get his right...

Yes that seems to be the issue I have if its not an ls people cant work on it I have like 1,000 dollars in tuning and guys telling me man its close but we really do ls engines. Then tell me that to begin with :flipoff1:

Mike Petralia @ Hardcore Horsepower dyno tuned my 461 SBF stroker with Holley HP efi. He is located in Franklin Tn. He is very knowledgeable on Holley efi. I don't think he has a chassis dyno thought, just a engine dyno.

I have a 489 as well but with fast. Took mine to lane and spent whole day trying to tune that bitch. Couldn't do it(not lanes fault ) come to find out fast sent the wrong 0 2 sensor . Put the right one on and it tuned itself.

I was gonna say, tune with a new o2 sensor and ALWAYS keep a spare with aftermarket efi

Where are you located? This might help determine who is in your area that can do the tuning. In the Chickamauga area, Daffron Innovations is available, in the Birmingham area, Speedsouth can also do the tune.

good luck, I have their terminator efi. had a lot of issues...called their tech line at least a dozen times...still never spoke to a person, I have figure most of it out myself.Still has some issues. im moving the o2 sensor from the collector to one of the main tubes this week. several people claim that fixes the issue, warfare screamin blue plow boy and several others are running theirs that way. as for someone who can plug in online and read your data? I have no idea but would like to know too!

When you say main tubes do you mean header tube? I found a guy last night that swears he can tune it perfect 2 hours away. so we will see this sucks want to sale entire setup and just get a fi tech system but I have too much in this one now.

pics of my rig had 49s went to 45s I have the holley 7in touch screen and dual sync distributor so all holley hoping someone can figure it out.

loads up on bottom and back fires through intake and dies sometimes when I lay into it from dead stop.

o2 boch or ntk?
open headers?
afr when it starts to load.
how much correction in learn table after it has died
have you tranfered the learn map to base
is the learn on and reaching temp to start learning
tuned accel enricments
