Saw this coming when there was first talk of them opening.

There has been word that hale may shut down due to the owners getting burned out on running the park. They are going to allow someone to run it for the year. If she is successful it will stay open.

I've helped hale with as much as I can and plan to help more. They are great folks who have been through ALOT since the park opened.

So lets all try to help and support them as much as we can. If anybody has questions on how they can help PM me.

I second that.

Hollytree Off-Road would like to clarify some misunderstandings from this past weekend:
#1 - We do not allow nor do we tolerate park customers to behave in the manner which has been discussed in this forum. The guy that slung the mud was immediately escorted off the property.
#2 - Events at the park are 100% weather driven events. We were in the midst of cancelling the entire event when we had 9 people show up to enter the event therefore we had already notified people who were coming to help that it was cancelled. Which left us short staffed for the event but we did not want to send those that showed up away. Past events have been successful with plenty of help on the premises.
#3 - We had the full amount of the bounty in cash to present to the person who made it to the top with the fastest time (the $300 PRP gift certificate was an additional incentive). Since no one made it to the top the bounty still stands.

We do apologize for the unfortunate circumstances that took place & in the future will make sure all customers understand the Rules when entering the park & understand that anyone who disrespects property while on the parks property will be escorted off the property and not allowed to return to the park.

We are still a new park growing and learning. We are striving to make changes and improvements that will make Hollytree Off-Road a fun, friendly park that people want to return to time and time again.

We appreciate the feedback (even the negative) and if anyone would like to further discuss this please give us a call at 256-776-9796.

Russ. The owner was standing there watching and laughing as the fat **** was slinging mud on another guy and went I got out he went missing for a few minutes. And as far as him being escorted immediately. That's BS he was on the porch with 20 other drunk cocks cramming there face with food. This park will not be successful with a dishonest owner.

My feedback. Your #2 should be explained in the beginning. This rain that the entire southeast has been going on for over a week. We have ALL been talking about the rain for the past week. It didn't sneak up on anyone. So it's no excuse.
These events are "Rain or Shine", mainly, because it's planned weeks if not months in advance... can't contrl the weather.
That's all I got. Cause I wasn't there.... because of the weather... depending on how this thread goes will determine if I ever make it to the park.

I normally do not lock threads, and I have NOT been asked to in this case. If you have an issue with the park, please call the number in the above post. If additional things happen, good or bad, at this park, feel free to post up a new thread.

This one has run it's course, and I don't think allowing piling on is productive in this case.
