I LIKE CHEAP STUFF.....
Re:
There are other hobbies that charge more gate fees! When I was doing track days on motorcycles back around 2008-9, 1 day at Barber Motorsports Park was $205 per day, or $395 for Sat and Sun with pit access Fri night. Other tracks were a little cheaper. Little Talladega was $110 per day, Nashville Super Speedway was $160 per day, and Road Atlanta was $195 per day. Same thing where you save $10-20 if you do both days that weekend. Those fees bought you 7 20 minute free-ride sessions per day.
Anyways, I've always felt like gate fees at all the parks in AL were pretty reasonable, except for when I used to go to Chocc or wherever when a rock race was going on and it was like $40 per person. I soon quit going to events. RBD's gate fees have gotten on up there pushing the limit, but it's once a year, so meh....
