Just got off the phone with Brian and the buggy still looks the same. I guess you have drill out the head bolts every time you rebuld it or some ****. He did like the idea of doing that. So he found a caddy motor in the junk yard with low miles, he is going to trade in another caddy (whole car) to the yard to get this motor he wants and start on it tonight, hook up the Caddy hot rod computer and start tuning on it, hope this **** goes well, time for a stroked LS2 hitit

their will be 30 or so. not everyone will be running the series. alot of guys run 1 race here and there. especially the 1st race of the season. people run one to see if they like it.

Just got off the phone with brian again and the motor is pulled from the car and in the shop, pulling all the junk off it and getting ready to put it in. Dave and Kim will leave in the morning with all the rigs, it is going to be a long night for them :drinkers:

Motor deal gone BAD1 Stuffed in a motor tonight that is junk. BLOWS water out the exaust and PRESSURES radiator horribal. If I cant find a motor anywhere along the way my East coast series is gone for 08.I will get on the phone tomorrow and try to get one in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tenn., or Alabama. If I find one I will need all the help I can get in the motel parking lot friday afternoon. If anyone has a line on a rebuilt, reman, or GOOD 97 Northstar VIN "9" let me know!!!! What model does that engine come in?

edit: Just googled it and found it. Pull A Part in Birmingham shows a 97 Seville in their yard. May be worth a call to see what they have.

I have never met any of you, but I know where and how to go get stuff should it be needed...Also, my parents have a house in F'dale that is about a mile from all the hotels in Fdale if anyone wants to park a trailer there for safety or room. Brian, bring that **** to my house and we will put it in the garage for the swap. Much better than a parking lot. We will have lots of hands to help
