this is just the kind of post to bring me out of lurking.

you may also want to invest in a fogger extinguisher system. costly, but it may be the only thing to keep your beer cool in case of a fire.

Have you looked into beefing up the stock steering? It's pretty weak, the biggest issue is the steering shaft coming loose from the tierod all together. I'd look into it before hitting the trail, you wouldn't want to loose steering and crash or something.

;D
you need a washer welded on the bottom of the vertical shaft to keep it in the drag link. I've been on 3 or so runs with vise grips holding the steering wheel in, not good.
good tech

you also got the one with the battery and motors not hidden under the seat. if you review the file pictures of the last race day, you can see tyler sitting on top of his seat and Miles and I sitting down in the jeep so our COG is lower. tyler's was like yours where the seat doesn't come out. He was falling off and out of control the whole time because of his high COG. bigtime losing strategy, but a rookie mistake nonetheless. If you can remove that seat and get the ass planting surface farther back and lower you will have a winner on your hands ;)

With that being said, I'd look into cutting out the back of the seat with a dremel and plate it back flat with some sheetmetal or something. maybe a plastic trashcan lid?

All the ****ers I work with found my ad on the internal company classfieds and started giving me **** today. So I had them all at my computer showing them pics. They all shut the up. They were like, you are ****ing crazy man!

just picked up a newer pink barbie and a red jeep at a garage sale for $20 each and she thought there was gonna be more tommorow. my daughter spotted the barbie across the parking lot so she might snag it so hopefully there will be more tommorow
