HPO - Hardline Forum Ride - February 26-28, 2016

Well, since I broke on day 1, I don't have a lot of pictures or stories to share. But, I did remember that I got a picture of this machine. Owner was a good dude too! thumb.gif

Sure made my dually look small though!

I had to look that truck over while it was parked close to us. Makes me want to get a medium duty even more. That Athens Driveline Samurai was slick too.

Shitty video but this was the Cadillac Buggy coming up Brokefoot friday morning before everyone got in there and slopped it up. It was bouncing off rocks and I thought for sure something was gonna break but it didn't and I knew after that I was riding in a pretty serious rig.https://vimeo.com/157498123

Broke Foot had gotten dug out pretty bad by Friday evening, quite a few very capable rigs struggled. Had a great time watching everyone come up Broke Foot right before dark on Friday evening though. That Cadillac motor sounds WICKED when it gets turned up flashemifyougotem

I had nothing for the slab on brokefoot. I went out a couple of the lines which were challenging enough for me and Hop along Sami. BTW, that Cadillac buggy made my pee pee stick out. That European sound to that exhaust make me smile from ear to ear.

I had a great time meeting some new friends. I'm pretty new to rock crawling but I can see this as a lot of fun with good people. Thanks Eddy for the funnel cake it was the best I have had. John I shipped your card back today and you should see it on Friday. Sorry about that. I'm pretty happy with the caddy buggy and can't wait to go play again. Jeff

I may be off on my dates or just confused, but was Josh R. With the turbo rockwell "never satisfied" buggy at the hardline ride? I seen a video posted on facebook going up broke foot.

New to rock crawling?? Haha coulda fooled me! That dam motor, and I'm not shittin ya, when on the Rev limiter, gave me chills to hear! That **** was beyond badass!!! We all know a Ls sounds so sweet. But what ever is in tha buggy is the best sounding motor I have ever heard. My God what a buggy!

Thanks Kush it's a Cadillac Northstar V8. The motor nobody likes! lol I love it light weight (all aluminum) and 300 hp stock. I wish I could have wheeled with your group more but you a lot in it and didn't want to hold anyone up. I cant wait for another ride and hang out with you guys. I had a blast.
