Im having some issues with my steering on the buggy. Seems when it gets hot and Im in a low technical section with a lot of back and forth steering my steering wheel gets very hard to turn. I have a single ended tractor supply ram if that matters and there is also a steering fluid cooler and a big resevior. Right off the trailer it does good, but once its good and hot its a pain in the ass. Any places to start or ideas??? I also went from running power steering fluid it to hydraulic fluid...no difference.

I had problems with mine when I turned all the way one way and got on the juice hard(DONUTS), after that it actually locked up till it cooled. I would add another cooler piped parallel to your existing cooler or install a dedicated electric fan to your existing cooler. It sounds like your fluid is getting too hot even with the cooler you are using. I'm not sure why they do it, but if you can keep it from getting hot, then you may solve your problem.

Yea that was kinda my thinking...I may run it to the back to an additional cooler. That way the fluid has more time to cool off.

What orbital are you running? Pump making any noise?

Im not sure which orbital it is...I will have to check. Bump is not making any noise, but when I first got the buggy it had an overflow on the resevior, and anytime you were at any kind of an angle the fluid would pour out and get low and then the pump would go to whining. I have that issue fixed now and its not losing fluid, but just not turning worth a **** when its hot.

what kinda fluid are you running in it. i had better luck running hydralic fluid

most of the time running a better fluid like amsoil tractor fluid or john deere hyguard will help with overheating

I bought this buggy from dude in michigan and he told me it done it. He said it was the pump and need a psc or etc. He sent me videos when I was looking at it and u could hear the pump he expland the same thing u did and told me I needed to buy a pump but I don't keep **** long so I rocked it out like she was.

i am going to thy it finsh this tonite i drilled it and took shim of piston and got pump warrantyed out put it back together tonite and got hydlic fluid
