Hellz yea Haley, awesome hook up man. I spoke with Doug and he was really helpful. Now my issue is catching him during business hours, they are only M-F until 4:30

They got black too loller.gif said he could bend a crease or seem into the centers to strenghtne them a lil even if I wanted.. dunno

I could do some pick up for you if u get a deal worked out.. I work cheap.......

you might have checked with them but i thought i would trow it out there...I have bought some aluminum sheets from Oneal Steel's drop yard a few times. 4'x10' sheets 1/8" and 1/16" if i remember correctly. They were pretty cheap $30- $40 last time i bought a sheet. they are drops so they might have some scatches ( nothing more than i have gotten on one ride) and the corners might be bent up a little but nothing that can't be worked with. they bring the drops over a few times a week so you might have to check in with them a few times but for that price it was worth it to me. got to go by there Monday, I can check if you are interested.

i just had black prepainted aluminum skins cut here by a local dirt track guy....the skins AND a 60'' piece of DOM tubing for my ram mount was only $140....the al was painted on both sides....was .060....the .040 was a little "heavier'' duty than i wanted......

winner. thick AL, and can be used for other **** too

Doug is David's son they are all real nice people.
I can also pick it up one day if you want. Don't live to far from there place and know them real well.
Glad they could help. thumb.gif

Yeah I was pictuing the whole frame more of a yellow color. But the multicolor skins are spot on!

On a serious note P, I have used aluminum for every panel except the cowl, hood, and grill on my buggy.

Dont know if you know him personally, but Deasons three seater Fusion has all steel panels except the sides and them sum bitches are heavy. I bet I am saving about 200lbs compared to his by going with aluminum!

Paul, I'll bring material, and we can skin it on April 18th before tech if you'll wear the gHey pride flag. Oh and your sides are 19" or less. I think i have enough barn tin for it. We'll get HB to spraybomb rainbow brite on it. :flipoff1:

That rainbow paint scheme is awesome as ****... Im sure the two guys in dresses last year at greyrock would invite me out for an after party laughing1

What if you use the same material for the panels as you're using on the rockers except in 1/8". Excellent impact resistant...excellent tensile strength....you can paint it or sticker it up......easy to work with......anti static(anti dust).......slicker than owl **** on a frosty log!

That would be cool... . Trent Fab did his rig with that setup, it all boils down to time and money and I havent gotten that far just yet. thumb.gif

Your right though, I could do it in the black and not have to worry about paint or any of that non-sense which would save alot of time... :dunno:

Tfab did his sides in UMHV ****, He's so McDreamy

Right and that was what your gay lover was talking about ... the rockers is what he refer's to boatsides .. at least thats what I took it as.. Ill have to look at what 1/8 UMHV cost's though. That would be pimp cause then Id never scratch the "paint" laughing1
