Get a fitting that looks like this for your grease gun, I get mine at Northern Tool.

Hopefully you have a gun that looks like this, with the short straight line, and a pistol grip pump. That way you can use one hand to pump and the other to press the whole gun on the needle to fill the joint. With a hose you are ****ed.

For grease I use the ubber tacky green "PurePower" from CTM.

Make sure you hit all 4 caps, and pump until you get some clean grease out the backside. I use latex gloves, and just scoop the old grease out of the back and wipe it on an old newspaper. So you dont endup with massive greasebuild up that will sling all over when you drive it.

Edit: Oh yeah, I just jack the axle off the ground, and put the Atlas in Neutral on the front, so you can sit in front of the rig, and just spin the tire to get to each cap. It may help if your wheels are turned slightly outward to get past the knuckle easier.

Hope that helps.

One cap at a time, patiently and straight... make sure the oring and clip is on the ear before pushing it into the shaft....

Its straight forward but Ill help you if you wanna wait until I can get there..

Your hands should be a bit sore after doing the front. Just be greatful you dont have them in the rear too.

Yeah I always fawk straightforward up! I will try it out one day this week. Wyatt I don't have a pistol grip gun but I do have the attachment, my biggest worry was getting the joint installed in the axles without fawking one up. I don't have my bench of vice installed yet so I think it will bring the suck

2 sockets and a big "C" clamp will do the trick. One socket bigger than the end cap, and one socket smaller. Use the "C" clamp to push the small socket though the joint and it will push out into the cavity provided by the bigger socket. . Reverse to install. Having a vice to hold the axle is always nice but its totally doable without.

Biggest thing to avoid F'n em up is just be patient and make damn sure the caps are going on the trunnion straight before applying any pressure. Outside of that there really isnt anything to F up.

They are strong, not much you can do that your rig isnt going to do to them after installed

Motor is back in

Hood is now black

Lookin forward to wheelin it , measured out the front for limits too ( going to run by BTF at lunch and see whats on the shelf )
that will keep my front driveline in check before I droop and pop that ****...

She's coming along..... aaaagain laughing1
