• Help Support Hardline Crawlers :

I've been thinking

Not to be an ass or anything.... ok well i really dont care if i'm an asshole, but it sounds to me like u need to do a little more homework and researching on where to buy parts and what exactly needs to be done. U just asking where to do this and that and gettin hand outs isnt gonna help one bit.

me? if i had $1k to blow on a 84 yoda.
tires, lockrite for the front, weld the rear, gears and a sawsall. hell done properly a sawsall lift will net ya room for 42's....
but thats me... results may varry.

What website is this at johnboy where you buy all this. That sounds like a cheap and decent lift.

these are all prices from Olympic 4x4. but you should wheel with what you have and go from there. if you just try to go big now with no experience it will hust you in the end. you must start small to become big.

my $.02.... learn to wheel what you have, buy some recovery gear.... or protection. winch/hi-lift/OBA/straps/sliders/bumper

get a good winch like a 8274.highlift jack, and straps,d-rings,and GOODtow points on your rig......unless ofcorse you like having your front bumper ripped off because you had no strap point's:haha:

It takes you a whole weekend to swap out a set of leafs and shocks? :eeek: :haha: :haha: :looser: 1-2 hours, easy.

I was thinking for a 1st timer, rusted bolts, no air tools, not real sure what U are doing yet ect.:D

For an old hand at it...............like 3hrs (need plenty of time for  in there)
