• Help Support Hardline Crawlers :

I've had it with these tire issues

Personally i dont care its supposting a local business that from all that i have heard and seen make an outstanding product that they stand by!!!

I'm sorry but i could go on google and find 20 guys selling DIY beadlocks for under $150 but why so i can get some cheap peice of crap and have it fail no thank you!!!

Theres a local guy who does it for 220 w/o hardware but I dont trust it because I don't know what equipment he's using, ruffstuff is quality and $205 delivered As far as the hardware we order in bulk so coming up with bolts and nylocks is easy (free)
:fawkdancesmiley:

And for the record I don't think longfield products are a rip off, they make quality $hit but if you paid $350+ for steel weld ons' you got ripped. JMO

if you add beadlocks to a DOT compliant rim it is still DOT compliant...

ill sell you my tires and some toy beadlocks and you can find someone to trade the beadlocks for some you can use with my tires.:wtf:

you could always try the inflatable internal beadlocks like jantz runs.

i found the tires i want only they come with some toy beadlocks.

Untrue modding a DOT rim in any way including welding on beadlocks makes the rim void of the DOT approval. Found it in the RCW's awhile back.

I have bought plenty of parts from Bobby Long and Dan at Ruffstuff and you can not go wrong with iether vender. Both sell top quality parts, have good prices, they are made in the USA, and have great custumer service, that is all you can ever hope to ask from any vender. $220 for a set of top quality weld on 17" beadlocks would be hard to beat. I am running a set of BrianD.s beadlocks and they work great for me. Any of these will do the job and its not like you are buying a piece of crap of Ebay. stan

I wonder how bad they could actually mess up making a set of weld on Beadlocks... You'd have to try pretty hard.

Screwed

THAT'S WHAT I WOULD DO GO BUY $1,560.00 WORTH OF TIRES AND $400.00 OF CHEAP WHEELS AND $4.50 OF CRAPPY SHEET METAL SCREWS AND DO A 1950's QUALITY BEAD LOCK UPGRADE, OH YA BABY!!:looser:

Obviously if one can afford $1560 tires and $400 rims... they should be able to afford real beadlocks.

For the rest of the people that cannot afford that much I think the sheet metal screws are a cheap way to save some hassles of lost beads. It's not the best way to do it but who cares if it works and it's all that you can afford?

BTW: it was the 1970's when the sheet metal screws were popular with the drag racers that my dad raced with. :flipoff:
