Jeep questions

:blabla: I bet if he didn't change the oil or tune it up it would still be running.

Anyway, as much fun as I am having here, and as much as I like being called an idiot, I gots to get some work done so try to hang loose and dont let the withdrawl symptoms from e-thugging get you down.

Just cut the ****ing roof off your yota and shut up.

Get over the "brand thing" and just ask for help. Just remember your thinking about buying something your knocking.

It will break down since your Karma's bound to catch you.

This is funny, I was thinking the same thing Cisco. But I planed to wheel mine. :kissmyass: Honestly, I do this every time I get wheeling withdrawals.

You can get a high milage TJ (4cyl) for $4000 or so. The idea of leaf springs makes me car sick. :puke:

I probably won't do it though......I'm not a ****ing idiot like you.

:haha: :haha: :haha:

I warned you I was a jeep noob. Cant they just run on the street without breaking?

How about a Miata?

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF DRIVING A JEEP ON THE STREET?

i could understand if it was a winter driver, or weekend offroader, but your going for the top off convertable part, right?

so why not just get a Miata?

Why not a miata? I think theres over 101 reasons to not get a miata. First and formost GAY.... second it wont tow my boat the 20 blocks to boat ramp.

Opposite for me. The 4-banger makes me wanna chuck. I can live with leaf springs just fine, especially on the street.

I think it's a great idea. You should be able to slap 31's on without any mods other than possibly gear ratios. We've been having a great time in the stock TJ farting around on fire roads and mild trails, and it drives great on the street. I say got for it, EFI 6-popper YJ, yup :D

Just don't put a locker in that Dana35 :haha:

jeeps are Gay'er... get a Zuk & toy the boat. and wheel the piss out of it on the weekends.

a jeep would be ok, just grab a decent 4.0 in decent conditon. and use the 5speed vs the auto if your towing.

again though.... Miata, and a air compressor for your rainbow float thingy would be very cool too... lol, just joking... go buy a jeep. cj yj tj. :awesomework:

I second a TJ with a I-6 and auto. Easy to drive, not horrible mileage and a decent performing Jeep in stock form. It also has the comforts of a modern vehicle.

And if you get the bug to modify it, there are high quality bolt on kits for everything you can think of.

I might have just talked myself into buying one:redneck:

For the record I'm not knocking built jeeps and I know a guy who got 300k out of his FI IL6. :awesomework:

The I-6 is a pretty bulletproof motor. I had an 88 XJ that threw a rod at 275K (my fault it was 1 quart of oil shy) and the Jeep still ran and drove with a silver dollar sized hole in the block.

x2 on the strength of the I6...

Probably one of the best things to ever come out of JEEP's Engineering department.

Cis...You should be able to get a mild '91 or newer with an auto for a decent price...Look at Eastern/Southeastern WA for some drier variety.
