This thing is lookin right! Might be able to beat on it now without that 44 up front.

As much beating as 4 squirrels w/ a boot up there ass can dish out... :driving:

Hell i never let up with the 44, only thing i ever busted were tfer cases.. never a single dline failure in that rig, aside from unsplining the front before i limited it...

Re: JRich's 1 Ton Taco *Back from EOR*

Its lives again.. sounds like a log truck :afro:
and it moves forward and backward in a straight line...

have to redrill flange on the tfer case to get the right bolts in it.. damn yotas.
and having trouble sourcing the correct 90's for my ram...

rear shaft, brakes, and exhaust and she should be ready to rock out.. :woot:

Re: JRich's 1 Ton Taco *Back from EOR*

Try a tractor place like John Deere or heavy equipment like Thompson Cat. I have got mine from those places before.

Re: JRich's 1 Ton Taco *Back from EOR*

need a male-male 90
6-jic to 8 boss thread...

parts stores only carry up to 6 boss thread... >:(

have to try a local machine shop/hydraulic place this week...

Re: JRich's 1 Ton Taco *Back from EOR*

Tractor and Equipment Company. (Komatsu) will have them. Prolly cheaper than anywhere else :dblthumb: B'ham T-town or Alabaster

ha, dad bought about 100 Parker 8 MB to 8 MJ90 adapters at an auction for about $12 a couple years ago. most orbitals are 8 boss. They are nice to have
Our napa finally bought gates stuff and a crimper just like mine at the shop, now all of their megacrimps fit my machine if I'm short one :woot:

Re: JRich's 1 Ton Taco *Back from EOR*

Hey did you check Alabama Bolt, there behind Kmart on Skyland. They do a lot of hydraulic lines. They may have the fittings you need.

Re: JRich's 1 Ton Taco *Back from EOR*

Thanks guys, I'll check this week...
Knew i couldn't source any on the weekend, so ill hit it this week...

found the right fittings.
exhaust on sat
tune air shocks and brakes on sunday...

Shake down comin soon... :woot:

Another Full bump poser..
Best I can do for now... :afro:

I just posted this using voice recognition. No need to touch the keyboard. :flipoff1:
I know, Im a loser. But fancy things on the computer fascinate me.

Finally got her sitting at ride height...

Just about ripped the front bumper off when I smacked a tree, high speed testing the airs w/ no brakes.. doh!

Brakes, Exhaust and she'll be on the trail

Well it finally wheels..
For those of you that weren't there...
Took her on a shake down run last sat at RBD 09 MMORV park

still open in the front, Loc-rite hasn't showed up yet...
Still need to install front air bumps and sway bar.
bumped the sway aways to max 7wt oil and ended up with really low n2 numbers.
Thing rides like a caddy and has Very little body roll.. They worked out awesome...

Have a front caliper sticking and my front shock hoop cross brace bumps the fitting on top of my psc pump, thus allowing it to loosin up and start leaking...
And my exhaust fell off.. That right, just crusin down the trail... Pipe broke clean off bottom flange of maifold...

Other than those little bugs, i couldn't be happier..
BTW, wheelin open front w/ stickies gets some odd looks on the trail... :flipoff2:
