injector got stuck and blew a hole in the number 8 piston i think it was :booo:
The motor im my 05 d-max blew up with 65,000 miles on it about 6 month's ago and gm put a new motor in it "thank god" it was around $13,000 and i only paid $100 of it :awesomework:
lol.. you need to spend more time on our side of the tracks.. lol... we got duraturds shelling parts all the time...
and 20sec.. lol.. wtf??? heck with as little power as they make thats not even a full dyno run...
a cummins is rated to run agenst the govenor @ full load @ 100% duty cycle..... :fawkdancesmiley: but you knew that allready.....
I hear ya :booo: im happy the put a motor in it cause they have been turning alot of warranty work down i had to fight for about a month befor they did the motor swap because of the lift,air bags,intake and a bunch of other stuff
wilsonville chev in Oregon it blew up towing a 38 foot toy hauler back from cali. so it was stuck in oregon for a month:booo: so i had to deal with it all over the phone:booo:

This was a full uncontrolled run on, the ecm had no control over the fuel and to the point it shattered a number of valves and this was on a cold motor.
I will have to tell you that story brian. Speaking of which I gotta get over to your shop, I have something to give to peter..
So not bad, complete duraturd swap in 21 hours.
Motor came complete, injectors, manifolds and everything... and it still took you 21 hours? :fawkdancesmiley:
