Matt what did you pay for your Dedenbears ? I just got a 228 quote and wanted to compare.

What were the solids running when you priced them out ?

You should be able to get them for a chevy for cheaper, I paid that for my fords and the MSRP on mine is $50/side more. Check TGTW Offroad on PBB for the best prices on Dedenbear. I also think Machinewave carries them now. I think solid was around the same, but the arms put them over. Can't go wrong with either setup IMO.

Hey you need to get up with Bryan Cole. They tie there steering arms into the Knuckles, its pretty sick and that way you don't have to worry about the steering arm ripping off.

I could do that, but Im more worried about cracks and breaks than shearing the arms.

I believe they've redesigned it after that using more bolts though.

I saw these in the new Crawl. Didn't see the price. But did get a semi.
I need to go highsteer, and would like to consolidate what I'm running so I only need to carry spares for the same type of axle. Right now, stock "C" & Knuckle, Ford60 Front, and Chevy 60 rear. $1400 may have to ahppen down the road, I'll see what I break first!

Yeah the front is the ford unit bearing ****, with Spidertrax redrilled bearings.

But If I got new "C"s out I'd be golden, and SOLID!

I would definately go with the Solid knuckles. I put those on my jeep and had around $750 for a set i think. ORC will hook you up!!

I agree the Solid stuff is THE ****, Im day dreamin right now anyway. Gotta wait until Miles pays up for the Turd

Im on a tight budget so the Dedenbears will probably be the route I take just because its more cost effective *read cheaper*
( If I upgrade knuckles at all..)

i think that the Crane Hi clearance knuckles > solid knuckles...they are both keyed...but the crane knuckles look beefier and dont ahve the factory "low-steer" arm hangin down off of it....

i opted for the deadenbead knuckles on my 60, only b.c the cranes with arms were $1200 shipped.....

I would of gone solid but they don't make Ford knuckles and I was not about to redo the outer shaft, spindle, brakes, etc to get a set of knuckles. I got my Dedenbear's for about $220/side I believe
