Wait, WAIT, HOLD THE HELL UP one damn minute! You post up a awd 66 impala TOW RIG!!! Ain't nobody asked no questions!?!? You all should be ashamed of yourselves! Worried about posting up your two thousand and who-gives-a-damn 3/4 ton trucks, and this man done laid it down! This thread should have been done when he posted. He won!

Scuse me kind sir, but could I trouble you for a tad more info on your BMF.
he'll start a thread if you got build pics.

I've thought this every time I see it. I just figured since no one asked, I must be out of the loop and everyone knew about it already.

He took a wrecked denali and set the impala body on the frame, made the fenders line up with the wheel base, built a fiberglass dash to use the denali cluster and ac controls, and alot of other cool mods, drove it on hrpt.

Stepping up or stepping down its went from a gmc 2500 crew cab 4wd 5.7 automatic to a 97 f250 4wd 7.3 5sp.

Thanks for sending me the messages asking for more info on or 66 Impala tow rig. This was built to run Auto Cross, pull our crawler, camper, and drive cross country. It has a 6.0 ls motor 4l60e trans, Awd transfer case, 3.73 limited slip axles, dual piston anti lock brakes, electronic body stability controls, automatic load leveling, front and rear heat/ac units . It was built 100% in our drive way. If your from Alabama you will see it pulling everything down the high way, or at a local crusin.

Is it factory frame& susp that is modified or impala body on another frame?

No need for an intake on a Duramax. 100% waste of money. Just pop the diffuser fan looking thing out of the end of the stock airbox.

whats this diffuser thing you are talking about???

Moparman. I saw you pulling into world of wheels today.
10-4, how does the truck sound? I just did the deletes last week and haven't got anybody to drive it so I can hear it yet. The truck is so long and the cabin is so quite I can't really tell how it sounds. I actually bought this truck a couple of months ago but I'm just now getting it like I want it. It was bone stock when I bought it, I've done alot of work so far.

Sounded good while you was raising cane thru the parking lot. :flipoff1: My brothers blue 2500 that had the black wheels close to where you parked sounds the same. Its crazy at how sound proof the dodge cabins are.
