Is that actually checking and doing the math at the pump, or is that what the computer says? I am just curious how you get that loaded, I don't hardly get that unloaded.

I went from 6.4 Stroker to a 5.9, the 6.4 sucks down some diesel and I had it all deleted and tuned. On the interstate it would say 22-23MPG checked it at the pump and the best I got was 17.

I don't trust the computer I do the math at the pump. It's an 07.5 6.7 deleted, 5" straight pipe, efi live in tow mode and a few tranny mods. My 12 valve was 2wd with 3.55s and did much better. I'm guessing it'll drop going over mountains.

How are the transmissions holding up in the newer Dodges? 12-16 year models. Thinking about buying a newer truck. Just wondered if they finally fixed them or if they were still junk?

even the old dodge transmissions weren't that bad. Mine is getting rebuilt now with 223k on it. It lools like all that failed was the band anchor. I could have replaced that and kept driving it. If you want them to live a long and happy life put a valve body and a converter in it.

I disagree with this. The older Dodges 94-on transmissions are JUNK! Even after a rebuild most of them don't last.

You only hear about the bad ones. There are lots of them running up and down the road with no problems. You just have to treat them right.

It was a joke. But it is a cummins so.....
It was 9.5ish on average with that load. All stock '14 w/ 35" Toyos.

I gotcha. You never know. Folks claim some outlandish fuel mileage. Mine sucks loaded. Period but it doesn't slow down for anything except a damn diesel pump.

My 97 had over 200k on it when I sold it. The converter had started to stutter a little but it had a wee bit more power than stock, no fuel plate, 150hp injectors and such and I was not nice to it. Current one is a 6 speed auto with a billet converter and pulls great.

Did some work to my old tow rig had this truck for almost 6 years and only changed oil in it so I figured it was time for some goodies new bumper that I welded up and lift and some 22.5's and some clear headlights so I can actually see at night

2016 Duramax (LML)

loaded is about 16,000-17,000# and gets anywhere from 9.5-10.5 running 70ish. best empty was 19 on the hwy. truck only has 11,000 miles on it so far. I'm happy with those #s and absolutely love the truck.

Heading to Moab in the morning.

Was that the trailer that was for sale on here a while ago?
Nice set up by the way. I would love a trailer like that my rig clears the door by 1 inch on the sides and less on the top with it sucked down.

Yes sir, January 2015 to be exact. I wanted it then but wasn't so keen on the price point, and had forgotten all about it. I put my 30' deckover and cabover for sale and a local guy gave me his contact info to talk about trading. I ended up swapping my gooseneck for it, and selling the camper to a friend. I had to take the back down and Ospho/prime/paint as it had been bare metal for a while. Put some aluminum deck on it, D rings, new tires, complete rewire, and picked up some cabinets for the winter remodel. 3rd trailer this year, so the wife said I have to keep this one or go to a counseling group... :****:

Yeah it was priced a little high. I did have a lot of potential. I almost bought it for my business.
I'm glad someone bought it and is finishing it out. Looks good.

Picked up this little pig today. 1998 with 31,000 miles looks new inside and underneath
