Well it wasn't very good logic.I'm still just trying to understand the logic that went into towing "on the trail" to get closer to Funny/Moon?

never goes over 180 degrees now no matter what :awesomework:
Dave Smith's in Kellogg ID. You won't find anyone that can beat his price. If you go back a couple of pages you can see my rig, and it was in the Mid 30'sWhile I think the Ford's "looks" are appealing, to me it's more about the quality/reliability of the parts that make heavy duty truck heavy duty (engine, tranny, suspension, frame, body).
I think I'm goin' for the Dodge. If I could afford to have this truck as a third or fourth vehicle and not a daily driver, I would probably give more consideration to the GMC/Chevy option.
How do you figure that? Please tell me you have a temp gage on your truck.
My truck is only a week old... its got the newest calibration, nice try at a joke thoughIf your truck has the special fire breathing calibration, then anything is a fire hazard.
the 6.4 isn't "new". It's the same as the 6.0. That's why no one has high hopes for it.
My suggestion, figure out which you like best between the chevy and dodge. If you just have to have a Ford because you like the looks more then anything, then I couldn't stop ya.
yes and no. two of the biggest problems were turbo's and injectors. the new 6.4 shares neither of those. the other issue was HG's and my truck has seen 35lbs empty and isnt leaking coolant.
well at only 35 psi I should hope you haven't seen any problems. :eeek:
Well, after driving a number of trucks and considering the input I've received from various sources, I've actually gone a different direction in purchasing a "tow rig". While I was leaning toward the Dodge 2500 w/ Cummins, various other considerations affected the resulting choice in vehicles. So, this weekend, I picked up an '08 Nissan Armada LE 4x4. Besides the standard goodies, it does have the heavier duty tow pkg (9100lb capacity) as well as the driver selectable tow/haul mode. Another nice feature is the automatic rear leveling when there's extra weight in the rear. I think for my needs this fits the bill. Hopefully, it doesn't disappoint.
