I towed my TJ to the Rubicon a couple years ago with a Nissan Armada and it did okay for the most part. 50 mph up the pass was all it had, and it average 8 mpg for the entire trip, but not bad for a gasser.

here's my tow rig. 07.5 with the 6.7cummins, 6spd auto. has a leveling kit and 35" mud graplers on 20" kmc monsrters. the exhaust grew in diamater, the egr blocked itself off, and a pmt found a new home. this is its third look since I got it. older pic with 6" lift and 37's on bottom

I really like this color on the 3rd gens. The more black you can incorperate the better!!! Nice Rig!!!

that was my first time towing the heep with the titan from seattle to tacoma, and all of it was pretty much i-5 driving was doing 60 no problem, and everaged out at 14 mpg....:flipoff:

but then again all of it was pretty much freeway driving....

what size tires and how much lift do the tires rub

The tires are 38x15.5x16.5 on 16.5x12x6lug weld wheels. The lift is a 6" rough country HD (FREE). I had to trim the front fenders but no one sees it.

13" southbend clutch,#3000 gsk, ddp 3 inectors, superbee turbo,bd turbo guard, o-ringed head, #4 fuel plate, 4" exhaust, exhaust brake, short shifter, 37" tires, 7" lift. The list of mods and aftermaket parts is endless. These rigs are a money pit
