Lets see your tow rigs

Just picked up a new truck as a tow rig for when my dodge is done being built. its a 87 F250 with a 7.3 turbo diesel and a 5 speed. 6 inch on 35's.

Picked this up today

69 3/4 ton 4x4 w/ a 4spd and a rebuilt 350 ... wish it had a big block, but oh well. Did OK on fuel, got from Wenatchee to Ellensburg on a 1/4 tank so better than I was expecting. Has only been driven 300 miles in the last year, and has been parked since August, so I am sure w/ some fresh fuel run thru her she will run even better

Didn't you have a truck with a big block recently? I seem to remember you had a white Chevy 3/4 ton.

I have one off a bronco ... Not sure if it will fit or not

Meaure your frame horns outside to outside....The bumper I have came off my old 75, and had a couple holes drilled to fit on my 89 1ton, but the frame horns were the same width on both my chevs the bumper's been on......but it is a nice bumper if it will fit and yours won't......might be into a trade as I drive a Ford, as long as yours was from a FS, my truck's a 97 OBS Ford F250...:corn:

If it wont work on your 97 maybey it will fit my 85 Kev.

IIRC Jim, the frame horns were the same width from like 1980-1997...But I have been wrong once before ya know! :fawkdancesmiley:

So Outside to Outside, the frame horns on my 69 are ~28.5" wide... on the 75 parts truck at my house they are ~28", on the Ford bumper that I have the mounts are about 34.75" wide INSIDE TO INSIDE.
