light cracking in BFG KM2's

I have some 37 KM2's that have light cracking between the lugs. No cracking on the sidewalls and no cracking around the bead area. The tires are 3 years old and have roughly 3-4K miles on them. The jeep is stored in a garage and it gets driven to and from the trail 6-8 times a year. Is this normal? ???

These pics are for reference but my tires are no where near this bad. My tires have very shallow almost superficial cracking compared to these two pics.

My super swamped ltb's have had cracks between the outside lugs since about 1k miles. No where near as many as that pic but some are 1-1/2" long cracks are random and vary in length. SS said it happens sometimes but wouldn't warrantee them unless one blew out. I just quit worrying about it?

The pics above are worse than mine. Maybe I should quit worrying also. Just wanted to see what the consensus was.

probably the combination of sitting a lot and being run at low pressure when they do get run is causing the cracking.. I wouldn't worry about it.
