The trails at the Hammers are not that hard...just fun :redneck:

You will not need a spotter or spotter strap 99% of the time providing that you are confident with your driving abilities and the rig is set up accordingly.

It's the speed factor that is going to grenade the weak link...

I have to agree--dissagree. You missed some of the funner stuff down there brad (whuch you gotta hit next time down there)..

A spotter strap---99% probably not--lets hope not :redneck:

And ya--speed is whats going to kill stuff

I will not need a spotter or strap...at least not for wheeling     :haha:

We'll be hitting everything there in less than 3 days with enough time each evening to be back in town sitting by the pool drinking Mai Tai's

From what I know so far we will be doing like 40-50 miles in one day and if I am not mistaken all of the trails??? LOL we will see what happens. There are going to be set pits that your crew has to wait at and they have to hike in parts if you need them..It will be exciting to see what my buggy looks like it two weeks time.. If I have a picture or two here they are the day I got it..

Man thanks for the support and I won't be the one taking any video but hope to have enough guys/gals down there to get some. I am thinking it will have its own video like "Dust to Glory" Now that would be SICK. The guy that filmed D2G dana Brown is the same guy that filmed the promo video for Kof Hammers..

Race Day Films is who we are working with to do a full DVD race/story.

It will be more like D2G than the usual rock crawl/race DVD's. At least that's the plan. We're talking with a few TV folks as well to get it on the tube. :D

EDIT: Race day did some of the HD filming for D2G, for Dana Brown.

That "turd" has had more coverage and exposure then most of the rigs in Washington state and has gotten me an invite to one of the most exclusive rock races in the country. This will be the next dust to Glory event. so have some repect for said "turd" please. Yea it will have some serious changes. Thats what happens when you build a buggy in a 2 car in 2002 with a small buget. The bank is still shallow but the fabber talent is there and hope the driver is there. Anyways it will be fun and I will be with my best friends.

If that pictured rig is yours i would have to say I like it.Its prettycool looking. What did it cost you?

I paid 10g for it. Maybe a little much for it being carbed toy engine. It has history and got me a step towards my dream so what price would you pay?

Well i like the look. How much are you going to change about it?

thats pretty high but i would have paid 20g if all i saw was a picture. whats up with the motor out of it? patrick said it was goin in your girlies runner? if not i could use a good motor for my **** box:D :D

Yea it might be going in my girl's driver. Gunna put a lift and 35s on it. I like that engine and it makes good power for a 22r. If I sell it I would want like $1500. Yea I am excited to see what we do with it. You must be Pats "fulltime" guy. LOL.. Yea it is pretty aweful.. For one it is hammered from me driving the piss out of it. 2 is the welds are pretty bad and some of the fab work is VERY bad. The link setups are :puke: .. Do you see that weird ass bracket they made for the lower rear link mounts on the frame? Anyways it will be better when you two take the torch to it. Thanks for your help.:awesomework:

i was trying to be polite but yeah the welds scare me most of the fab work scares me and yes the frame end on the rear lowers might as well be single shear scary. i guess that is why you brought it to us.:D :D cant wait to see this race its gonna be a blast.:awesomework:

atta boy Larry. glad to see that everything is fallen into place like you wanted it to. good luck on the race. i know from experience you will be petal to the metal the whole time. anyways hit me back i got some good news.
