Losi crawler

electric? or nitro? what kind of axles? do they look like they are gonna be as strong as a TLT axle? according to the rc guys that are really, really, really into it, say that the TLT axle is the strongest/most supported axle out there

The new Losi to me is way over priced since you can get an Axial ARTR for about the same price and the Axial is twice the rig for the money. Losi screwed up making that new car of theirs a 1/18th scale when the norm is 1/10th.

The Losi comes ready to drive, the Axial needs quite a few parts yet to drive. All said and done the Axial is probably twice the cost.

Either way, it's not meant to replace the comp rigs - its more of a fun one. I been doing a bit of research on this (just bought a CR-01 today). :redneck:

Axial has a RTR version now also....

Yeah but he mentioned the ARTR. :D

The Axial RTR seems just Ok to me. You'll either be completely satisfied and having fun, or kicking yourself for not just ponying up for the comp class rig. Seems like there's a lot of plastic vs. the comp.

Check out the Losi specs and you'll see what I'm getting at. Lots more metal, nice radio, etc. Looks like fun, could even spawn 1:18 scale comps. :awesomework:

I wanted to be different and do some scaler-esque stuff so I ended up with the CR-01, looking forward to the FJ40 build.

Ok, so you get a radio with the Losi, which is junk, a 380 motor( wow big torque I'm sure):haha: , and who knows, probably a servo that can't hardly get the job done. Yep that will be a great deal. :awesomework:

to each their own, i choose a higher quality rig for a little more money and it would be a way better rig to have in the long run IMO. :;

Maybe Ill have you build me one for "a little more money". Just an RC newb trying to get a foot in the door.:beer:

So, I guess I'm the only one fighting the urge to buy one? I'm not a comp guy, and most of the rock courses I built around here are better suited to a tiny rig anyway.

Im not a comp guy either thats why I think it will work good for me and my kids.........My nitro truck is to fast for them to handle.
