Here is my 2cents out trail riding it's a good thing to have yes. Do I keep one no. I was raised to use your fists. At big comps and the such keep them in the tow rig. One year at RBD we did a rig recovery. The driver said I lost my pistol out of my pocket. I found said pistol in the dirt and no shalontly gave it back to him while not letting the crowd know the better. I do not feel he had any reason to have the pistol in his pocket during the comp for any reason. :drinkers:

Everyone always tries to express their views in a persuasive way like "my way is right" These sort of things get comical. I could give a **** less what any of you do in terms of carrying a weapon. :****:

And you shouldn't...........Proper training tells you that you never unholster unless you have to (ie: someone has pulled a gun or knife on you with the intent to kill you or someone else). It's a sticky situation and it isn't for everyone but like someone else said, "you never know who is carrying" and if they are a "good guy" you won't know it unless you need to. Pussies will pull their **** out just to wave around and act big. Bad guys will pull theirs to kill you.

Exactly. The absolute last thing that will happen before i shoot someone is them know i have a gun. I pray every day that i never have to unholster my weapon, but threaten the life of my family or loved ones and you will find out quick that I have no problem with it. The officer that taught my ccw class said it best "Give them every option to leave but when you draw make sure you can finish" I will always remember that word for word.

I feel the same way ...
Here in ohio open carry law is all I use. Nothing stops a meth head like a 12 guage with 3 1/2 OOB.. Don't want to be put in the situation where one has to shoot but if you or your family are being put in harm's way there is no question. But we have stand your ground law and you don't have to walk away when you are in your own yard. But if they step foot on your ground and you believe they want to do harm then by law waste there ass.. But you still have to live with it.. To each there own..

This was 3 minutes from my house, last week a group of 30 :afro: literally burnt a girls house down because she had one of the arrested a few months back for harassing her. These are reasons for good people(me) to carry

I'm 20 mins out of town on 25+ acres and not a :afro: in sight....our entire county is only 60,000+ people and the vast majority is white. So I totally understand June dog's outlook on this cause we live in same area. :drinkers:

A few years ago a TBI agent and a local detective knocked on my door looking for a guy that helped brick my house. He had beaten a guy to death with his bare hands and threw his body in a creek. He was probably 5' 8" tall and 160 pounds. I definitively was not afraid of him and even joked about his tattoos which ticked him off. You never know.

Yep, I'm not fighting ANYBODY, and I assume if you want to fight me, it is a threat to my life.

One of the guys we used to hunt with got in a scuffle outside a bar and ended up with a broke neck and died in the parking lot. Pretty stupid way to end up dead.

Fighting is stupid. I will never give anyone a reason to fight me over anything, so if you want to fight me, I automatically assume you also want to get your knees blown out by a couple jacketed hollow points. Then kicked in the face before I leave you there, just for starting ****.
