Yes. Front sump also the filter location is center of the pan, not out at the edge. Helps me clear the rear driveshaft. I'm going to try one in a rear engine buggy.
I talked to Rocky at Wide Open Design the other day, an he said in my MAST pan to run a factory dip stick. Fill the motor with the recommended 6qts, crank it, let warm up. Shut off engine let cool an drain back to the pan, an mark it. That's what he said.
