meaning a kevko or make one?
I told heath to skid his. On his motor mount crossmember just put some tabs and run the plate forward to it

whichever is easier.. I got a kevko i believe... (typing this i dont have a clue because its still in Tn for me to pick up)

Maybe some day I'll make this thing rear steer i guess its just decoration for now. I think this shock hoop aughta be stronger than the last one it'll get a crossbar when the other side is done. One frame rail is complete thogh. I'm all over the place with this thing cant stay concentrated.

I said that 20 times before i started cutting it apart but that wouldnt be fabn very dirty then. I hope to have the tube done and welded by mon.. I got my radiator back it is now a double pass. I havent come up with a good idea for the rear shock mounts yet they have to come up 4". The plan is to have it going by the 30th. I know it wont be done but take it out and see whats what. I'll have more pics fri or sat.

Its blacksheep10's design. I may be a little off but Im pretty sure this is the way Kelly said they did it they take rock side gears and turn them down to fit in the 14 bolt carrier then weld it all up. Draft the rock tubes onto the 14 bolt. Then they make adapter to use the 14 bolt spindles on the rock knuckles and they make custom drive flanges. They have to use wilwood calipers as its the only thing that will fit. I know there is alot more to it then that and im sure Kelly will chime in the give better details and fix whatever mistakes I made ;D Ben mindon runs this same axle in big booty Judy but it steers :afro: Maybe one day Heath will get his working ::)

I didn't think of putting rock outers on the 14, but I did think of putting rock side gears in a 14 carrier and making a spool. Also on the 8 lug conversion, cutting the spindle off, welding it to a plate and having the hub on there on the cheap with an inner seal to make the boots not necessary.
Ben executed it thrice and had the flanges made.

finally more pics. this thing is gonna be lower than i thought. Its looking like 20" belly with 8" up travel. 22" under tranny pan and 23" center of crank.. 113" wb and 44's still. maybe it'll be steering in the rear next time too.

Hell, I'm getting excited too. a chance to really tune a couple sets of ori's. We can change oil viscosity, bypass return tube length, compression valving with some block offs, oil amounts etc to really make them go. If I get my single seat and your junk going we'll have to have a tuning weekend. :woody: That thing looks GOOD hitit

Progress finally 2 weeks messin with this snow, I haven't touched this thing. I couldn't make up my mind on the rear upper shock mounts, finally satisfied. Another X in the chasis I think there will be 9 all together.
The rear links are running uphill to the rearend its a concern but i'm gonna wheel it and see how it does. All these pics are at ride hieght 20" belly and 73" top of "A" and secondary "B" pillars.

This last pic is decieving how the links are uphill cause the frame is uphill towards the rear aswell. And don't look to close there's alot of beautification to do that may or may not get done ::) I'm hoping to make it go really well not win a ribbon at a car show. :flipgotcha:
