Ok, who stole MattO's login again, he is bringing the funnaayy again.

I remember Louis running around saying "Man I am gonna be screwed, Slim is going to charge me a fortune for the radiator repair." He no **** worked for like 12 hours on the repair and swapped in 3-4 radiators. Louis goes over and asks him how much and Slim says, "$50 bucks". The rate for any Slim repair is $50. This only sucks when you only just need a 5 minute fix vs a 12 hour repair like Louis had.

Louis I would like to thank you for making that trip the best ever. Meals prepared each night by a chef. We had no silverware on night two and literally ate steak and mashed potatoes with our fingers. That **** was damn good. That is still my wife's favorite trip ever, and it was mostly due to the food Louis cooked!

This was also the first time I met NOwheeLEN Grogen. He was internet famous mind you, so I was in awe of him and his 4 banger buggy. I remember thinking he was shorter than his interweb persona made him out to be I also thought he resembled a west coast wheeler and was only missing a flat bill. He was towing his buggy with a pimped out LC FJ80 or whatever they are called. He rolls deep! He helped winch someone in our group that couldn't get Shamo up the ledge on Green Mamba

Seriously , that trip was the most fun I have ever had in the woods. Joel's first run in BigSilly, he was rock bouncing in a way that would of made the TN boys proud! ;D

You need to stop perfecting that **** and get it in the woods! Your last trip was Clayton in 06 when you turned your TJ into a Sherman tank and tried to pound the obstacles into submission Good luck man, hope it comes along for you

i actually wheeled 2x after that.....but hey, it was still over a year ago...

i aint perfecting anything , just trying to overcome my earnings shortcommings.....

fwiw, it really is close to coming apart....i am not running any lines or putting any fluids in it until i have it apart and painted....i only want to do that **** once....

MattO, thanks for teh compliments on the food....and for the spot where i "sherman tanked" my ONLY unprotected tub sheet metal...

***i want to clarify matt's story a litlle, although it is right for the most part...

-slim worked on my shitbox split TJ radiator for about 12 hours, as stated....however, the fix was $75, to which i paid him $125 for the effort, and included an all aluminum radiator and a 5 minute bracket and new hose job as well....

that dood is NUtZ.....having him in clayton makes the fear of going [a long way away] and worrynig about breaking a lot less worrysome.....

i can't wait to get teh buggy done and get it in the rocks.....

That second guy pushing on your rig is a stud. Nolen was throwing all 130lbs into my tire to help me steer. I had a shittly placed PSC Assist ram with a fried pump, it was fun.
