Miles and reliability?

You've had it for less than 2000 miles and already fried a injection pump?

It's a Dodge owner thing.. They see the symptoms.. trade it in QUICK.. lucky new owner gets the surprise :redneck:

Purely my fault:redneck: My box was wire tapped to the quad. I did an extended WOT run on power level 10. My shitty lift pump couldnt keep up and starved the injection pump. p0216 code, hard starts, excessive white smoke, and limp mode followed the next day:booo:

New box isn't wire tapped until I get a new lift pump that can handle the power.

1995 PSD with 5 speed 4x4. Did ball joints, front axle U joints at about 150k. Did GPR, GPs, GP harness, Radiator at 199k. I did the tranny, t case, front and rear diff oil about a month ago. All is well with the Ford at 210k on the clock.

Christ what did you do, buy a old worn out fleet vehicle?

It was a two owner truck, the second owner had it for the last 9 years and since 125K miles, according to the DOL. He was a prison guard that towed a snowmobile trailer and commuted 80 miles a day. All that stuff happened while I owned it, im not talking about problems that it had when I purchased it.

That truck was just an utter POS. The cab flexed so much all the screws on the interior plastic would unscrew themselves. The rear slider window would work itself open every day. Most people have much better luck.

I learned to never buy a truck to drive everyday unless it is clean, even if it means all I can afford is a gas 2wd half ton. I just had to have turbo diesel  I have been looking for a clean cummins to buy for 11K, havent found what I want in 5 weeks.
