Not very many peoples cup of tea. But I would sell my 1st born for this car. 1932 Ford 5 window coupe. Built by the Kennedy Brothers for Jim Jard. Only thing on it newer than 1953 are the tires and the fan belt. Jim owns a lot of hot rods, and I mean a lot (it was his party where I was hanging out with Uncle Rico (see my myspace)). Anywho at the banquet dinner the night before the United Cerebral Palsey, Invitational Concours Classy Chassis show where dad and I showed the '30 Caddy on the floor of Reliant Stadium (Where the Texans play), I asked Jim what it would take to get that car from him. All he did was laugh.

Here it is on the floor at Reliant.

and you can roll out in it in a moment's notice.
I know I've driven the thing to work on multiple occasions. I should drive it tomorrow but its supposed to rain like a mofo!

Your priorities will change with the kiddo Wyatt. Keep the 58, it's more practical where you are at. Houston SUCKS for owning a crawler IMO. let alone having a family to contend with to leave for a weekend a few times a year if you are lucky.

i disagree Bones Houston is a great place for a crawler, you been on our freeways you know what i am talking about, thats all they ever do craaaawwlll :flipper: :flipoff1:
yea wyatt it would be tough to get rid of that 58 unless you finish your other truck and can live with just that one and the riviera. the kid will drain you of most of your time for atleast the first year. but contrary to popular belief you will get some time to yourself, its just a matter of what you decide you want to with your free time i.e. sleep, work on cars, drink with your buddies, etc etc. i do think you have plenty of time to wait on the crawler cuz you wont have a ton of chances to go in the next year. plus if you get the itch you can come over and help me put on my driveshaft and shifter, fix the rear hub the list goes on, so you just let me know when your thinkin about crawlers and i will load your favorite beer in my fridge and you can come over and start wrenchin :drinkers: :flipgotcha:

Take my word for it guys.....kids won't be too much of a cramp on your hobby til they get older! It starts slowly at school age and really starts taking it's toll at the teen years but the real devastation to your hobby time and money comes when they start driving....and then there's college! Oh, and also take my word for it......girls are waaaaaaay worse $$$$$$$$
