I just thought I would put this on here I am not finished with it yet but I am close. I bought this Jeep from my father in law last September because it had alot of good parts in it but it needed some updating he had put the motor in it about 6 years ago and he could not get it running right so he only had it out twice and it had just sat in the shop for a couple of years. When I bought it I took it to Lane Culvar and had it tuned so it would run right. It had a manual transmission and I wanted a auto and I wanted to change up the front 4 link to a triangulated design which was going to involve moving the motor up some so after alot of looking and thought I decided it would be easier to just start over from scratch and use the parts out of the jeep to build a buggy. Hindsight I should have just bought a chassis but it is to late now so here it is.

Specs: 06 LS2 crate motor with a few upgrades, MEFI 4B fuel injection, built TH350 with some TCI goodies reverse manual valve body, 3.0 Atlas 2 speed, front 60 with chromo shafts and CTM joints and Dynatrac stub hub kit and lockouts with Dedenbear knuckles, rear 60 with 35 spline chromo shafts, detroits front and rear, PSC Double ram, Racepack digital dash, Artcar shifter, 42 Irok stickies and 17" monster beadlocks.

Very nice lines. really like the what you did with the rear of the roof bars. Any concern with your intake being so low ?

I am a little concerned about it being that low but that is the only place it will fit and I usually don't get in water that deep but I may try to change it when I get finiished

Are you not able to flip the intake on the LS2 motors? I am running a 05 6.0 and will be flipping my intake so that the air cleaner is in the "cab" of my buggy. I guess it does not really get it higher but it will help keep it dry until it just dont matter any more.

Sure you can. I run mine flipped. Just have to extend the wiring to the throttle body. I also move my steam vents to the front and plug the rears.

I thought about turning it around but I dont have enought room inside for the air filter because that is where all of my wiring is located

There always seem to be compromises. Never really a perfect build. Rig looks good though, doubt the aircleaner will ever be an issue.
