My new light duty wheeler...Samuari

I installed the Lock-Right today and it is working well, I can't wait to get this thing out on the trail. Once I get powersteering on it, I will be saving for another locker for the front, hopefully I can find some crap to sell so I can get it a little quicker. :redneck:

Well thanks to Kevin I got myself a Sidekick PS setup (thanks again  )! All I need is a belt and a few hoses and I will be good to go! :awesomework:

I never updated this after I got done with everything... I installed the powersteering setup I got from Kevin, put in a 94amp GM alternator, put in a Lock-right in the front along with the 26 spline Trail Tough shafts and birfs, then I bolted on a bumper from Zuk's Off-Road and a Smittybilt 8000lbs winch. She still isn't running 100%, has the occasional backfire and the mileage is a little low (getting about 20), as soon as I am employed again, I will be getting that taken care of.

Some pics from out at Elbe at the end of July, ran everything but the Busy...

Ahh samauri the new flatfender. THose rigs work great out there. Looks very nice and nicely set up too. now spring it over with yjs and run the best elbe tire ever the tsl 34-9.5-15. :awesomework:

Thanks. :awesomework: I am planning on going spring over this winter probably, although I am just going to do it with stock springs and stick with the 31's and keep her more streetable, I have an FJ40 with 36's I can use for the nastier stuff. :redneck:

Definitely. I just read that thread. Very nice work. :awesomework:

Did you do that brace across the front of the T-cover like I did mine? Sure is nice not having to worry about the mounting for the pump flexing....

I haven't yet, I have been meaning to get that done, I just need to get down and buy some steel.

Just noticed this thread... So by now you know how capable the sucker is..I used to wheel toyotas but I don't think I'll ever go back, They just won't fit in the tiny little spots my sami will. Wait till you go spring over, It'll articulate much better and make most trails almost too easy.

i run my little tsls {32x9.5]at 12 -15 pounds and rarely pop off the beed, and a stock sammi comes in around 1900 pounds

my buddy has a 90ish sami that he is debating on doing something with(he obtained it because someone didnt want to pay the bill at his shop). How much in parts are you looking at, for a set up like this?

haha i thought that sammi looked kinda familiar...then i realized i live like 4 houses down from ya :redneck:

when you do your springover use the rears up front and get yourself some stock cj front springs for the rear.givs exelent shackel angle and a ton more travel.

Yj's 5 pack with the spring over is a good streetable set up aswell as a  Cadillac:cool: ride on the trail! I have some axles with spoa done allready Tracker Hybrid 5.13 hi-steer ya know the full package :stirpot: lock rear spool front not alot miles since rebuild,oh well just throwin it out there:corn:super lift hubs i think
