• Help Support Hardline Crawlers :

My really slow 4runner build up

I'm still laughing :haha:

But I will leave it to that and if you wanna talk about this is person I am happy :;

In any case so what are the plans for this?

I see you have the possablilty for a 4.3 (what we call the odd ball one) which is one hell of a powerplant in that configuration.

What tranny?

What suspension are you going to run?

And I see you bobbed it--Are you going to bob the top also?

My plan's for this are to wheel it.

If tomsbrokeagain still has his th350 w/ 208 adapter by this weekend, I will be using that.

I just went through my 300 and it is ready to go.

I am going to run inverted 4 link's front and back.

I am going to sell the top to re coop some cash toward's the build.

happy now.

Yeah I will be at Donner, I'll chat with you there.

Not too much for progress tonight, time was cut short, I have a wet t shirt contest to get to.:redneck:

I have a pallet full of part's for one of those too, it's just a matter of getting the time, space and motivation up to build a chassis.

there are no new photo's, last night time was cut short due to going to a wet t shirt contest, and today I couldn't get out of there soon enough due to a hangover from excessive drinking at the wet t shirt contest.

when do you think it will be completed?...just wondering cause I can't remember when I saw you behind the wheel actually wheeling?:wtf:

Well today I ran out to tom's and picked up my new tranny, got back to the shop and gave it a mexican tune up, about a half hour later it look's brand new and painted. I then finally finished my bob job. Then I tore into my front end, It was an upside down left hand drop 960 with the most diff clearence ever that I built for my moon car project, now it is a low pinion passenger drop with the most top clearence ever.

The brand new tranny is in the back ground, the knuckles are half ass sitting on there the right way. My time was cut short due to having to do some jeep repairs.

Oh yeah, and yes that is a freightliner in the background.

Today I got a really late start due to a kind of late night of drinking. I decided I was tired of working in the huge mess, so I started off cleaning up. I then finished cleaning up my inner c's and housing end's, it is now ready to go under the rig and have the caster set. I then fought with myself for a while getting up the motivation to cut off the bottom of the housing. I got it done, it look's good and now I have to go to a damn bbq down the road. I plan on coming in back later and maybe starting on the skid plate. Though I need a motor before I build the skid plate I should be able to get a good start.
