my some what new toy build

so i got my knuckle issue dealt with. new studs in both sides. also got a hand throttle hooked up. fixed the rear break line that was f-ed up and also re routed the lines. my new front calipurs seem to be siezed so im gonna try and get them warrantied through highway. did some adjusting on the weber. i have to order some stuff tomarrow, then i should be able to get back out on the trail. cheers....

oh ya i got my new wheels mounted to....i also got bored and mounted the goodyear eagle stock car specials. they hook up great but without balancing have a killer death wobble at 45mph

tonight i did some wiring. last weekend we didnt get off the trail untill 7pm and it was plenty dark. so i added some lights and relays. also went through and did some soldering on some of the wiring. from here on out i am soldering all wire conections, then coating them with liquid electrical tape, and then sealing it all in with shrink wrap. that should keep the weather out. i really am not that good with electrical stuff and would really like to re-wire the truck. strip it down to eliminate the stock harness under the hood im not using. but to me it is kind of overwhelming. i would also like to add a few extra circuits since toyota didnt really leave me any in the cab. anybody good at wiring?

use Di-electric grease on your connections also. that will keep them from corroding up.

the very beginning maybe 50 yds up "poop shute" and then the "rock garden". the others are "the wall trail", and "lake isabel trail". lake isabel was really fun when we did it cause of how deep the water was. i had water running through my cab. also didnt have the front locker working:fawkdancesmiley::haha: . we went all the way to land side. the tires are 37 12.50 15 irocks.:awesomework:

got rid of the old pump and picked up a viair or whatever it is. work like a charm so im asumming something is ****ed up with the other one. im now starting a new thread and everything will be posted there

all right scratch that. so i have ejoyed and beaten on this thing for a season now and have decided to do a makeover on it. whats in store? new cab, new seats, exo, stereo, battery relocation? so far i have the donar cab striped down, i am swapping out the wiring harness as it is all cut to **** and melted. got both the old harness from my old cab and the new cabs out and am ready to put the old harness back in. had to do some swapping of parts from cab to cab to make a complete straight one but it is coming along. i cant wait to get out on the trail again:beer:im also gonna start helpin my brother out on his pro-street 55 chev pickup:flipoff: ill post some pics of it when i get them tomarrow night

so turns out ive been working on my truck for the past week which was great

i replaced the motor mounts and t-case mounts. i bought some of trail gears lifetime warrenty ones. ill post pics of that and some other progress

the last week i swapped the harnesses over and fix some wiring. i painted the cab and fenders. put the cab back on and almost have everything hooked back up. still need to do a ton of little things and then hopefully order some tube in 2 weeks. heres some pics to prove it.

so in the process of getting my new tool box finished and my air pump re mounted and that kind of stuff, i took on another project. a friend of mine bought a bed from me and we decided to do a bob job on it. its my first one so i cant wait to see it done. we are also putting some 63 chev springs in his toy truck

so i have been doing some more painting and helping a friend get his junk done too. we bobbed the bed and are putting chev 63s in the rear. we cut 18 1/4" out of the back of the bed. still need to finish grind and primer the bed. built some new shackles for him to. we painted both doors, the hood, cowl and other misc. parts. should be ordering some tube fri or mon of this next week. im ordering 160' of 1 3/4 dom .120w im ordering some extra for a few other things i have coming up.

the tube came in last week on wed. 184' of 1 3/4 .125 dom, and 20' of oval 4" oval .125 dom:; this tuff is pretty sweet, i ended up getting the oval and 24' of the 1 3/4 for free
