So I've been doing a little work behind the scenes on testing a move of this **** pile to a new server and board software. Turns out Tapatalk has gotten into the forum hosting game and since it seems like a lot of our members enjoy the Tapatalk function I thought this might be a good solution. The Tapatalk board runs off PHPBB forum software which just so happens to be a software I used on an old board I used to run. It's good because it's open source and is a stable platform that will not be going away anytime soon. Here is the link to the test board. I took a copy of the Hardline database from August 15th so it is complete up to that date. Your logins should work here. Feel free to test, post, etc and provide feedback. Image attachments are not working yet, I'm on that. Also, keep in mind I have done zero customizing so far. My goal is to try and make it look similar to the hardline we all know and love in order to lessen the shock of change to our members if/when we decide to make the move.

Re:

I will check it out on desktop when I get to work later this afternoon. I was wondering if you'd had any progress on this recently. Your handy IT work is appreciated!

So, all the graphics will be identical to what we have now when it's done? Other than that, my initial stroll through it was fine. :dblthumb:

If it resolves the issues guys are having that's legit and similar looks or not a change could do this ol place some good.

Looks good to me! I dabbled around on it a little. One of the pics of the black duramax on the last page in random pic thread was distorted, but the other few pics looked normal. Not sure if that is what you were talking about not working right for now or what.

Will the login names and passwords and email accounts transfer over to the new host?
