after the tnorv ride in March i really wasnt pleased with a few things on my jeep, so i decided to tear it apart and keep what i did like
i kept my axles, seats, QA1 chromoly heims, and air shocks..........Special thanks to Mark S. for letting me use his shop and for all the help so far

and thanks to JR for all your help

im really too early in the build to start a thread, but figured what the hell, im bored and the boards are sloooow

here is what i have now to use as my base platform

vortec 5.3
th400
twin sticked lomax 205 32 spline outputs
art carr shifter
2.5" x16" fox airs at the corners
17" beadlocks
39" red labels
corbeau SS seats and harnesses
3/4" chromoly heims
QA1 1.25 heims
narrowed tj grille w/ HID lights

dana 60 front 5.13 gears, detroit, custom truss, ORC diff cover, 35 spline outers warn flanges
dana 70 rear 5.13 gears, detroit, BTF truss, BTF diff cover, disc brakes

going to wait till i get the chassis done before ordering the fuel cell and radiator

Looking good Daniel - cant wait to see more pics. Keep this updated!

thanks guys, im really pleased so far.

i mocked up the motor, trans and x-fer last night to check for leg room and all. looks like its going to be about the same as a suki inside

im shooting for 25" from the front of the seat to the firewall,
im going to be able to leave my truck intake on (the hood will set 2.5-3" lower than in the pic)
hood and grille will be narrow 6.5" from stock
subframe will be 8" from the bottom of the main frame

here is a pic for reference, WB is set at 108-110" with 90° + approach/departure angles

(no these are not my blangin tires/wheels) wish they were drool
