man what a disapointing night :puke:

had to remove several bars to get my upper link mounts like they needed to be(for the rear. very aggrevating.. but in the end i believe it will be a cleaner/stronger set up than i had

for the rear it looks like im going to have 8" of seperation at the axle and chassis. with the lowers being about 6" longer

but i did get a visit from brown santa yesterday

got the rear mocked up last night, still have A LOT of bracing to do and of course gusset/box in all the tabs

got the links ordered (2.0" 7075) Thanks EOR! got the front lower brackets welded up and tacked in place . got the front shock hoops finished and got the rears bent and notched :driving:

got the links in last night, got the front shocks in ...still need to weld on the rear hoops, got them bent and notched just gotta get um on

now its time for all the mounts, braces, gussets, etc. and it will be torn down for final welding and paint

I can't spend any money on it for a while, thanks to our great president >:( :flipgotcha: and the cancellation of the Constellation program , my wifes and my job are at jeopardy right now


any ways its about ready to tear down to do final welding and paint. i really only need to do some gussetting, aluminum for floors/firewall and skins, and build a bumper for the winch on front

radiator/fan,shifter, steering, seats, fuel cell, and battery are all mounted

i cant wait to drive this thing :driving:

thinking about black chassis with pewter silver body panels...thoughts?

well i found out that I'm safe, at least for right now :spin: but my wife doesn't find out until Tuesday....i gotta list of things to buy to finish this thing up and its killing me having to wait...but if everything works out it shouldnt take too much longer

been making a lil progress, got the aluminum for the interior and started working on it a lil... got the painted aluminum for the skins also.. gotta bring home a nibbler from work to cut them out...

also got the front bumper done with a grille guard
