New Rig

You asked for it and since the board was down I couldn't post last night. So here are pics of it now. I finally understand the "jeep thing", if it breaks modify it until it is completly destroyed. :kissmyass: :haha::haha::haha:

I got bored and decided to cut on the axle alittle bit:

Now I just need to figure away out to hack the front axle without it looking totally getto. I'm tempted to remove the high / low and just leave it locked in low to further shave axles but who knows. The only issue I have in the front is the damn servo so I'm playing around with different ideas on it. :clappy:

Hey Manic, I have 2 1/4 scale servos brand new if you want one for the front.

All you need is to somehow reduce the power down to 6 volts and of course figure a way to mount it up. I'll make you a screaming deal, $50 for one.

They are Hitec HS5735MG digital.

Yeah I know they do. The problem is they are bigger then standard servos equaling to more uneeded weight on my rig. Plus there isn't alot of mounting options for servos on the maxx axles that will let it keep it's cog as low as you saw it. I hate the LST's on the rocks since they are so damn bouncy

with no foams and holes all over the rims so I'm saving for some mashers or moabs for it now. I am probably going to order the parts on the first to start another TLT build and run 2.2 since I have the axles just need to buy new gears and bearings for them. I think the maxx axles are going to get the boot for mad / twin force axles just waiting for a deal to go through. As for now I have this nylint that is costing me nothing to make it crawl better. :haha:

Now I'm on the search for a set of X factor axles or TXT axles. I'm going to sell my maxx axles and lst's since they aren't going to be used.

Well I am going to eventually build a rig with either X factor or TXT axles. My project that will take awhile to build right is using the mad / twin axles. I've kind of put off things so I can try to get a TLT back together and waiting to the first so I can send my super rooster back in for repairs. Just hard to get motivated after losing $160 for a chassis that will never happen. I could of built another TLT with it.

Once I get my ring and pinion set ordered I will have a TLT running once I get around to building a new chassis. :haha:
